The Durabook S15C2 is the perfect choice for mobile users wanting power, performance and security all in a rugged design. As with all Durabooks, the S15C2 is built tough and built to last. The S15C2 is designed with a magnesium top and bottom case to protect the systems vital components from damage due to drop and concussion. The Durabook anti-shock mounting design protects the LCD and Hard Drive from damage and data loss. The Durabook’s spill resistant design protects the internal components from accidental spills The S15C2 features a 15.6” wide screen FHD LCD with graphic resolution up to 1920x1080. The S15C2 is powered by the latest Intel Core i7, Core i5, Core i3 processor providing for maximum performance and power management. Standard features in the S15C2 include three USB 2.0 ports, an IEEE 1394 port, one Type II Express Card slot and an RS232 serial port. Optional features include a Web Camera, and Encrypted Hard drives for the utmost in data security. The S15C2 is also available with a Smart Card Reader, 3G Card support and support for TPM 1.2 data security protection.
